TeachECONference2024
Fifth Annual Virtual Conference
Online video-poster sessions: from June 17, 2024
Online live presentations: June 24-26 2024,
3-7pm BST/10am-2pm EDT
The Centre for Teaching and Learning Economics (CTaLE) and Cornell University are pleased to open the call for papers for TeachECONference2024. Now in its fifth year, TeachECONference remains free to all participants. Last year’s conference received 558 unique views from economics educators from 42 countries. Recordings of the 2023 conference are available on our website. TeachECONference2024 will continue to nurture the exchange of ideas and discussion of topics on innovation in economics education today.
As in previous years, the conference will have two parts: from June 17, our online video-poster sessions and from June 24 to 26 our online live presentations. The live portion of the conference will include four presentation sessions on current research and practice in economics education and two lively panel sessions. The first panel will discuss how we should be training economics instructors to teach, and in the second panel we will bring in education experts from other disciplines to talk about what we have in common (and not) with teaching elsewhere in the university. At the end of each day, we will host a Networking Mixer where participants and speakers can chat and mingle. We’ve had fantastic feedback on the past years and can’t wait for TeachECONference2024!
There is no registration fee and everyone is welcome to join us.
