Better Together has underpinned CTaLE’s work since we were founded in 2015. Over the years we have valued being able to work closely as members and increasingly with a growing group of CTaLE Associates, Advisory Board Members, colleagues in the Economics Network, the AEA, EEA and RES, and our wider ‘Friends of CTaLE’. In Autumn 2024 we launched our Communities of Practice to provide an additional adaptable platform for people to get together to discuss and work on themed research areas. These Communities are led by volunteer coordinators and each group decides for themselves what format to use to bring people together. Their initiatives complement the many other exciting connection opportunities that happen through conferences, training, mentoring and other seminars in different regions.

Join our Discussion Board
Our Ed Discussion Board is for economics educators to informally interact on common teaching and research themes. It can also be used to discuss recent events such as our EconTEAching seminar series or annual event TeachECONference, and of course to share best practice and new ideas.
To join, please send an email to ctale.ucl@gmail.com using your institutional email address and we will send you the joining link to the board.
