BAME Attainment Gap

The basis of the BAME Attainment Gap project is that analysis of UCL data has reveal there to be a small but statistically significant discrepancy in the outcomes and experience of undergraduate Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) compared with white students at UCL. A three-year project is underway to address these disparities.

As a BAME attainment gap faculty lead for UCL Social and Historical Science, Parama co-authored this article, “The Early Impact of Initiative to Close Attainment Gaps at UCL.”

UCL Economics undergraduate students, Hannah Buttle and Otso Hao, presented their study on the BAME Attainment Gap at Posters in Cloisters 2019. Please see this blog post for further details.
