TeachECONference

TeachECONference is back for 2026

TeachECONference is our online conference that brings economics educators worldwide together to share ideas, experience, and best practice.

TeachECONference 2026 will take place 29 and 30 June, 2-7:30pm BST / 9am-2:30pm EDT, with online video posters on the CTaLE YouTube channel from 24 June.

TeachECONference offers a timely and affordable alternative to traditional in-person events. Originally launched during the Covid-19 pandemic—when travel was restricted and many conferences were cancelled—it continues to bring together educators and researchers to explore the frontiers of economics education, exchange innovative teaching strategies, and share practical classroom experiences. It is designed to be a welcoming space to build new professional connections, reconnect with colleagues, and grow as an educator—all at a fraction of the cost of attending in person.

As in previous years we are hosting the conference at the end of June, with online live sessions on Monday June 29th and Tuesday June 30th 2026 from 14:00 to 19:30 BST/09:00 to 14:30 EST.

The Call for Papers for this year’s conference has now closed. We will announce the programme and details for how to register in April 2026.

Be sure to join us on 29 and 30 June to be part of a vibrant, supportive community committed to improving economics education.
