At the beginning of each academic year, we at CTaLE are excited to start up one of our signature projects, the First Year Challenge (FYC). This past Friday (October 12th, 2018) was the deadline for the FYC and we’re looking forward to seeing what the students have come up with.

As a commitment to the Widening Participation initiative, this year we have also launched the UCL Economics Challenge based on the FYC. The Economics Challenge will provide secondary school students in Year 10 and 11 a chance to enhance their interests in economics within an internationally recognised academic environment.
