Prof. Cloda Jenkins and the Economics Network run a collaborative project focusing on Teaching and Assessing Employability Skills in Economics. This project involves universities from across the UK. It is designed to explore how employability skills are developed in economics programmes across the country, both in the classroom and through different forms of assessment. It hopes to identify and disseminate best practice in this area to the HE economics community, in particular through the project reports and the upcoming Developments in Economics Education Conference.
This is an important area of discussion for the discipline in general but particularly in the context of subject-level TEF and its focus on graduate outcomes.
