The Royal Economic Society is one of the oldest economic associations in the world with over 6,000 members worldwide. With an aim of promoting the study of economic science, we welcome membership to all who share our aims and objectives. Through our various activities, such as our 2 peer reviewed journals, our popular annual conference, a founding member of the Discover Economics campaign and more, we hope to be able to enhance the visibility of economics, support economists and improve diversity.
This year’s mixer featured breakout rooms hosted by colleagues in Economics Education. They shared their experience and answered questions on teaching track careers, recruitment and hiring within the UK and US and a chance to have a general chat to unwind at the end of the day:
