This Community of Practice is co-led by Matt Olczak (Aston) and Chris Wilson (Loughborough).
In-class games or experiments are a common teaching tool in economics. They enable students to have a first-hand experience of strategic incentives and decision-making before studying the underlying economic concepts and applications more formally. Evidence shows that these interactive teaching activities increase student engagement and aid learning. The Community of Practice will bring together people with an interest in using, developing, researching and promoting such classroom games. In the future we will organise events open to anyone interested in learning more. If you are keen to be involved in the CoP please email Matt or Chris.
