Ramin Nassehi is a Teaching Fellow at the Department of Economics at the University College London. Before joining the UCL, he thought economics at King’s College London and School of Oriental & African Studies. Ramin has won five teaching awards in the past four years including the best BSc Lecturer (optional modules) in the Department of Economics at UCL (2018), the SOAS Director’s Prize in Inspirational and Innovative Teaching (2017), nomination for Teaching Excellence Award at King’s College London (2017) and the Fractional Teaching Prize in the Department of Economics at SOAS (2015 & 2016). Ramin’s research interest is on the history of industrialization in oil-rich countries. He has been educated at the University of Oxford, LSE, Queen Mary University and University of Tehran.
